柒、教學內容及進度:
本課程為東南亞發展議題的介紹,檢視各個層面的挑戰,包括貧窮的消除、農村發展、人口政策、環境管理、健康照謢(HIV/AIDS),以及都市化等問題。我們將比較區域裡自越南而至印尼等不同國家的經驗,從每一週對成功與爭議性個案的探討,讓學生能對相關發展政策有一全盤的了解。我們也將探討國際組織以及地方社會在促進發展所扮演的角色,包括國際金融機構,亞銀、聯合國、USAID以及世界銀行等國際援助機構,以及地方的非政府組織(NGOs)。最後將探討亞齊(Aceh)的案例,包括其分離運動和南亞海嘯所受影響。本課程從東南亞的經驗以找出該地區所面臨的發展挑戰,並希望提供對整體發展問題的了解途徑。

拾貳、成績考核方式:
一、
出席及參與(10%):學生在上課前必須先仔細閱讀指定資料,曠課超過兩次將會明顯影響學期成績。
二、
提問 (20%):就指定閱讀於上課前提出(最少三個)分析性問題,問題必須顯示對所閱讀資料有深切的了解,並與該堂課目有密切之關聯性。學生必須依據課堂上的討論回答該等問題,並於下次上課前繳交。每一學生最少必須選擇兩次的指定閱讀並提出兩組問題,若超過兩組則以最高的兩次成績為準。
三、
學期報告之課堂報告(10%):學生必須在課堂上簡短報告(十分鐘以內)其學期報告(見下),並於十分鐘以內回答同學的問題。
四、
繳交學期報告(30%):學生必須提交一篇5-7頁針對東南亞特定發展議題的學期政策報告,分析特定發展問題的起因,並提出解決之建議。報告題目必須在期中考週之前從教學平台(http://tsp.ec.tku.edu.tw/113922qp)提出,並取得授課老師的核可。報告將於課堂上討論,並於上課兩天前公布於教學平台上。評分的依據為—報告的內涵、分析的完整性、建議的可行性,以及課堂簡報資料的充分性與說服性。學生可提出三份草稿,以最後一份定稿作為評分之依據。截止日期將另行公佈。
五、
對報告之回應(5%):學生必須對其他同學的報告提出書面或口頭回應,回應必須在課堂報告當時或其後(一天之內)提出。
六、
習題(25%)。
