柒、教學目標與範圍：：

本課程是針對國際以及區域研究所應具備之研究方法做一概括性的引介。除了讓學生明瞭相關之社會科學概念之外，特別注重實際的習作，並要求學生就其所選擇議題進行研究設計，於學期末提出一完整的研究計畫。課程大別為兩部分，第一部份針對與區域以及國際研究較攸關的跨領域學科以及方法做系統與實務的教導，第二部分則就研究論文的寫作做一解析。

拾、成績考核方式：

一、              出席及參與(10%)：學生在上課前必須先仔細閱讀指定資料，曠課超過兩次將會明顯影響學期成績。

二、              研究計畫之課堂報告(15%)：學生必須在課堂上簡短報告（十分鐘以內）其研究計畫（見下），並於十分鐘以內回答同學的問題。

三、              繳交學期報告(40%)：學生必須提交一篇5-7頁針對特定議題所設計的研究計畫，包括研究動機、目的、方法、步驟與預期成果。計畫題目必須在期中考週之前提出（可參酌http://mail.tku.edu.tw/113922/note/Themes2006.htm所羅列的主題清單），並取得授課老師的核可。計畫將於課堂上討論，並於上課兩天前公布於教學平台上。評分的依據為—計畫的內涵、架構的完整性、內容的可行性，以及課堂簡報資料的充分性與說服性。學生可提出三份草稿，以最後一份定稿作為評分之依據。截止日期將另行公佈。

四、              對報告之回應(5%)：學生必須對其他同學的報告提出書面或口頭回應，回應必須在課堂報告當時或其後（一天之內）提出。

五、              習題(30%)。
