、教學目標與範圍:

性別議題在東南亞社經發展裡極為關鍵,諸如勞動力結構、家庭活動、社會制度,乃至於跨國的人力移動,都與性別脫離不了關係。同時,兩性問題是許多其他社會問題的起點,有了相當的認識,也就很容易進入其他的相關領域。本課程即針對與區域發展相關的性別議題,做一重點的探討,一方面讓學生能有較深刻的了解,另一方面也希望能幫助學生跨入其他社經領域。本課程探討的範圍如下:

            女性在東南亞勞動市場的參與情況

            東南亞家庭結構與在社經發展所扮演的角色

            東南亞女性跨國移動的情形與境遇

            如何建構東南亞女性的能力?

            東南亞性別與社會變遷

拾貳、成績考核

一、                        出席及參與(10%):學生在上課前必須先仔細閱讀指定資料,曠課超過兩次將會明顯影響學期成績。

二、                提問 (20%):就指定閱讀於上課前提出(最少三個)分析性問題,問題必須顯示對所閱讀資料有深切的了解,並與該堂課目有密切之關聯性。學生必須依據課堂上的討論回答該等問題,並於下次上課前繳交。每一學生最少必須選擇兩次的指定閱讀並提出兩組問題,若超過兩組則以最高的兩次成績為

三、                學期報告之課堂報告(10%):學生必須在課堂上簡短報告(十分鐘以內)其學期報告(見下),並於十分鐘以內回答同學的問題。

四、                繳交學期報告(30%):學生必須提交一篇5-7頁針對東南亞特定發展議題的學期政策報告,分析特定發展問題的起因,並提出解決之建議。報告題目必須在期中考之前提出,並取得授課老師的核可。報告將於課堂上討論,並於上課兩天前公布於教學平台上。評分的依據為報告的內涵、分析的完整性、建議的可行性,以及課堂簡報資料的充分性與說服性。學生可提出三份草稿,以最後一份定稿作為評分之依據。截止日期將另行公佈。

五、                對報告之回應(5%):學生必須對其他同學的報告提出書面或口頭回應,回應必須在課堂報告當時或其後(一天之內)提出。
